I'm new at Tshirtgang, and I love the concept. However, when I list an item on ebay, I get an error message:

I want to know how are payments processed before I can actually feel more comfortable at selling through ebay. Does this mean I have to pay for the item and then get my money back when ebay and paypal release the funds, or how is this handled?

All errors returned through our eBay connect are returned from eBay itself.

This error means that your funds from sales will be held in PayPal for a few days. This measure is put in place by eBay/PayPal to ensure that new sellers, even with a great amount of feedback, and buyers have a smooth transaction.

Unfortunately PayPal does hold a large percentage of your funds, but this can be reversed by a quick phone call.

I believe PayPal holds funds for 21 days.

Am I supposed to use my own money to cover the purchases made from ebay, or this is automatically deducted when the customer makes the payment from my Paypal account?

For the time being, until your money is released, you'll likely need to pay out of pocket.

It's only a temporary measure through eBay and PayPal. I would give them a call and ask about this to learn more.

How would I know in what price to sell, if I don't know how much your T-shirt costs.
