The other day I was referring some people to T shirt gang and someone asked if we used organic materials for our shirts, I don't know how much more organic than cotton they would like to go but I promised I would ask, can you provide some light on this topic for me please.

While cotton itself is organic when grown naturally, that doesn't mean that cotton that the big companies like Hanes, Gildan etc. use is organic. I'm certain these companies use cotton that was grown using pesticides and other chemicals which means the cotton is no longer organic.

The tshirts we use are not organic cotton. The manufacturers we use (AlStyle, Gildan and Fruit of the Loom) just don't carry organic cotton tshirts in all sizes and colours we use.
